Laura Tolusso Garden, DDS
Dr. Laura Tolusso Garden, a board-certified Endodontist from Roanoke, Virginia, earned her Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction from the University of Virginia and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Following graduation from dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of North Carolina.
Before specializing, she practiced general dentistry in Midlothian, Virginia, gaining experience in comprehensive treatment planning and restorative dentistry. Dr. Garden completed her endodontic residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, obtaining a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Her unwavering dedication to professional growth led her to achieve Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics, marking her commitment to providing superior patient care.
Dr. Garden is actively involved in the Roanoke Valley community. She is an adjunct faculty at the Carilion Clinic General Practice Residency and helps instruct newly graduated dental students in providing endodontic care. She also serves on the Dental Advisory Committee for the Bradley Free Clinic. Further, she is a board member for Tudor House, a local non-profit dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health awareness. She teaches Sunday school at St. John’s Episcopal Church and is part of the Children’s Ministry Cooperative. She is also a frequent speaker at Jewish Community Preschool, helping to educate little ones and their families about oral health.

Regina Mar, DDS
Dr. Regina Mar, originally from Olympia, Washington, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington. Continuing her education at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry on a Health Professions Scholarship Program for the US Army, she excelled. Dr. Mar completed a 1-year AEGD program at Joint Base Lewis McChord, graduating as the top student. Her military career took her to various locations, including Washington State, South Korea, Georgia, and Virginia.
She obtained her Endodontics certificate and Master of Science in Oral Biology through the Army endodontics residency program in Augusta, Georgia. Post-residency, Dr. Mar served as the department head of Endodontics at the Pentagon Tri-Service Dental Clinic for 3 years and acted as a clinic staff mentor for the endodontic residency program at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. After nearly a decade of military service, she was honorably discharged. Since 2018, Dr. Mar has been practicing endodontics in the Roanoke area.
